SPECIALTY RESIDENTS AND PRACTITIONERS

Psi Omega members are not only driven to succeed while in dental school, but also afterwards. Many have gone to find great associateships or even start their own private practice! Others have continued their education in specializing or furthering their knowledge of general dentistry, and there are even a handful still at MUSC. Recent Psi O graduates are currently residents at MUSC in all 5 main specialties offered: Ortho, Pedo, Endo, Oral Surgery, and Perio! Numerous other graduates have gone all across the country to specialize or to start caring for patients in practice.

OUTSTANDING FACULTY ADVISORS

Our faculty advisors are incredible, enthusiastic supporters of our organization. As members of Psi Omega when they were in dental school, they have a passion for the organization and are always willing to lend a helping hand.

DR. RICK ALBENESIUS

You will have Dr. Albenesius for Behavioral Science, which you will take second semester of 1st year! He will also be your attending in the Oral Diagnosis (Emergency) clinic.

DR. TED MCGILL

Dr. McGill teaches Pre-Clinical Occlusion, which you will take in the fall semester of 1st year! Dr. McGill will also be your attending in the Restorative and CADCAM clinics.

DR. GABIE INGRAHAM

Dr. Ingraham teaches Complete Dentures, which you will take in the fall semester of 2nd year! Dr. Ingraham will also be your attending in the Removable Pros clinic.

Therefore, you will have professors from Psi Omega for the first 3 semesters of dental school!

All 3 faculty members will not only be your professors and attendings in the clinic, but they are also amazing mentors in dentistry.
